Thanks for showing an interest in Surplus Festival. We're on the look out for walkabout acts, aerial performers, ground based acts, fire performers, magicians, kids entertainers, and all and everything in between! WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
THE FESTIVAL: Surplusfest is a Not-for-Profit organisation holding a 3 Day festival event, which includes camping for the general public, workers and artists. We try to keep costs down to a minimum to be affordable for all. We usually pay in an arrangement for tickets for entry, for the pleasure of your company and entertainment.
ARRIVAL: Performers are asked to arrive on site between 10am and 10pm (please note, gates will be closed after 10pm). We appreciate that some people have work commitments, however, so if this is not feasible please provide details of when you will be arriving on site on the form attached.
CAMPING: Please note that a camping area will be provided in the crew camping field.
DOGS & CHILDREN: Any dogs brought on site will also need a ticket, and must be supervised by someone else when you are performing. Under 16s also need a ticket (though this is free), and must be supervised by a responsible adult over 21 other than yourself when you are on performing.
PERFORMANCE TIMES: We ask walkabout performers to perform within a given timeframe (for example. Saturday evening between 9-11pm) so that we can spread out the entertainment over the weekend. We may ask you to perform more than once but this will be by agreement. Your performance times will depend on the type of act and how long you are willing to perform for and can be negotiated once your application has been accepted.
FOOD: We will provide one hot meal per day that you are performing. Tea & Coffee will also be made available.

Once your application has been processed and accepted, we ask that you please confirm that you will be attending before 01/05/17.
