The Site

Surplusfest is located on a beautiful site about half way between Cardiff and Bridgend.

Despite being in the heart of the Welsh countryside we're only 20 minutes from Cardiff, 15 minutes from the M4 and only 15 minutes from the Airport for the most adventurous Surplus People!

During the other 362 days of the year the site is an organic farm and yoga retreat, and so we ask that you treat it with care & respect.

We ask that no glass is brought onto site, to avoid harm to both animals and people (more info here) and that you clear up after yourselves & take as much rubbish & recycling home with you as you can.

We're also providing composting toilets this year - please don't put anything down them that isn't biodegradable!!

We are blessed to be allowed dogs at the festival again this year, but in return we ask that you be responsible for your dog at all times - if this isn't something you can manage because you really want to let your hair down then please arrange alternative care for your furry friends over the weekend. If you are bringing woofers to site please be aware that they will need to be on a lead at all times unless in our dedicated dog walking field - please refer to our terms and conditions here for further information.
